Unusual expansion of a local company: „We are opening four new plants“

The Matis Group plans to open four new production plants in the upcoming period, three of which in Ivanjica and one in Kragujevac, announced the owner of the Matis Group, Dragomir Lazovic.

He added that the company, which is the carrier of the development of the entire Ivanjica area, needed support for that investment.

The plan is to hire 100 new workers.

As he pointed out, these are the plants for the production of panel furniture and components for mattresses, which will employ about a hundred new workers.

„The Matis company, which has been successfully engaged in furniture production for 25 years, employs more than 1,000 workers and it is one of the pioneers in the introduction of dual education, was presented with support opportunities for this investment, as well as the use of current assistance programs of the Development Agency of Serbia and the Development Fund“, it is stated in the announcement of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
