Vesic announced a tender for FIVE NEW swimming pools in Belgrade
Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic has announced that the construction of five outdoor swimming pools is planned for next year, which, according to him, will be the first time in more than fifty years that Belgrade will get new swimming pools.
Next year, we are announcing tenders for the construction of five new outdoor pools in Belgrade, announced Vesic, during a tour of the renovated pools in Banjica within the Vozdovac Sports Center.
One will be located in Borca, another next to the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, one in Juzni bulevar at Vracar, Zemun and Lazarevac, the deputy mayor explained.
„We will then be able to talk to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development to introduce swimming as a compulsory subject in primary schools because there are a lot of children who are non-swimmers, which is why tragic events happen,“ Vesic pointed out.
