Vucic: No Porsche without Cacak (PHOTO)
The German company „Vorwerk“ has commenced production of parts for the automotive industry in Preljina based plant near Cacak, in which it invested around 60 million euros. The plant of the business group „Vorwerk & Sohn“ spreads across 45,000 square meters and it now has 176 employees, while plan is to employ 1,000 workers by the end of the final phase. The City of Cacak has invested several million euros in the construction of utility infrastructure at the location of the plant. The plan of plant’s management is for export to reach 10 million euros by the end of this year, and to reach 150 million euros by 2025. Cacak based plant, which construction lasted 18 months, will supply the world’s leading car manufacturers such as BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Ford and Opel. President Aleksandar Vucic has visited facilities of the new plant „Vorverk“ today and stated that – there is no Porsche without Cacak. „There is no Porsche without Cacak, when you see someone driving a Porsche you should know that this would not be possible, if it were not for Cacak and the workers from Cacak. Porsche „made in Cacak“,“ Vucic has added.
