„We must ALL be like Vucic, I think Switzerland ENVIES us“

Minister of Economy, Andjelka Atanaskovic, has said in the Parliament of Serbia that the entire Government, together with the President of the Republic, is working on improving the living conditions of all citizens, and that even Switzerland envies our success.

Noting that the president works every day and insists on Sunday being a working day as well, Atanaskovic said in the Parliament of Serbia that the ministers followed that rhythm.

„As much as he is dedicated to work, so must we, the entire government, be dedicated to his path and together follow everything he does,, to build as many roads as possible, as many hospitals, schools, and thus, of course, companies,“ said the minister.

She added that investments were still coming, that the ambassadors of numerous countries were asking for investments in Serbia, and, as she pointed out, „this is very favourable“.

„There are no job cuts, no company shutdowns, and the amount of over eight billion euros in aid to citizens because of covid shows how advanced Serbia is,“ said the minister.

She added that we were the only country that had managed to save its population with the vaccine and to save the economy, and to have a minimal drop in GDP of 0.9 percent.

„I think that Switzerland envies us for this kind of vaccination organization in the country and all the ambassadors who come to me are amazed and congratulate us,“ said Atanaskovic, adding that Serbia was taking big steps forward and would return to the path „when Serbia was famous in Europe and in the world”.

SNS MP Ana Carapic also said that Serbia was leading in the Western Balkans when it came to foreign investments, and that Aleksandar Vucic alone opened more than 230 factories, and they enabled us to have a higher standard and GDP growth.
