    Whopping figures: The most expensive apartment in Serbia sold for EUR 9,500 per square meter!

    In Serbia, properties worth about EUR 4.2 billion were sold in 2020, which is, despite the coronavirus pandemic, more than in the previous three years, and the most expensive apartment worth EUR 9,632 per square meter was sold in Belgrade Waterfront, the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ) announced today.

    When it comes to old buildings, the highest price per square meter amounting to EUR 4,452 was paid for an apartment in the municipality of Stari grad in Belgrade, in Kralja Petra Street, and the apartment for which the most money was allocated in 2020, in the amount of EUR 1,461,000, covers an area of 431 square meters, and it is located on the territory of the municipality of Stari grad, in Strahinjica bana Street, it is stated in the announcement.

    When it comes to the sale of houses, the highest contract prices were realized on the territory of the municipality of Savski venac, in the elite settlement of Dedinje, it is stated in the announcement.

    The most expensive office space was sold in Novi Sad, worth EUR 11,026 per square meter, while the garage space sold in a new building on Kopaonik had the highest prices in both categories.

    Settlements in the vicinity of Novi Sad record the highest realized price of land intended for industrial construction, as well as the highest price per square meter of agricultural land.
