    ABOLITION OF MEASURES: Restaurants and shopping malls opened as of 8 May, kindergartens as of 11 May 

    In the upcoming weeks, Serbia will gradually abolish the measures introduced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, as it was announced at a press conference after the Crisis Staff session.

    Here is a list of what will be opened when: as of today, 28 April, parks and promenades will be opened. Those who use them must be at a distance and must comply with all the recommendations for disease prevention. As of today, outdoor training is also allowed, while complying with all the recommendations. All outdoor sports activities can take place. Starting from 4 May, public transport in Novi Sad and Kragujevac, as well as railway transport and road intercity transport, are enabled. As of 8 May, public transport in Belgrade and Nis will be enabled, without the use of air conditioning. From 8 May, restaurants and cafes can be opened: in gardens while observing appropriate distance, while in closed spaces, all the recommendations must be observed. As of 8 May, shopping malls will be opened with a great degree of caution especially regarding the number of users, distance and use of protective equipment. Starting from 11 May, kindergartens and after-school care will start operating for the families with children where parents have to go to work and no one else can look after the children. From 18 May, air travel will be able to operate according to all the rules set out in the recommendations.
