Applause at 8 pm followed by banging pots at 8.05 pm

The same as every evening, applause for medical workers could be heard throughout Serbia at 8 pm. However, tonight in Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad and other cities in Serbia, five minutes after the round of applause, a number of citizens joined the „Raise Your Voice: Noise Against Dictatorship“ campaign called for by the „Ne davimo Beograd“ initiative. The initiative had earlier urged citizens to make noise by playing music, blowing into whistles or trumpets, banging pots or in any other way, thus showing that they would fight for democratic and free Serbia-characterized by solidarity.
