Average salary above EUR 510 for the FIRST TIME

The average (gross) salary calculated for July was RSD 83,016, while the average salary without taxes and contributions (net salary) was RSD 60,029, so for the first time in Serbia the average salary is higher than EUR 510.

The growth of gross wages in the period from January to July 2020, compared to the same period last year, amounted to 9.5 percent in nominal terms, 7.9 percent in real terms respectively.

At the same time, net wages increased by 9.3 percent in nominal terms, 7.7 percent in real terms respectively.

Compared to the same month last year, the average gross salary for July 2020 is nominally higher by 9.2 percent, and 7.1 percent in real terms, while the average net salary is nominally higher by 9.1 percent, i.e. by 7.0 percent in real terms.
