BIZLife list „30 under 30“: Milica Sukovic, Finance Manager, Delta Agrar
Milica was born in Belgrade in 1991. She started working in Delta Holding in 2016, when she passed the competition for the „Young Leaders“ program. The first stop on her career path was the Financial Institutions Relations Department, where she had an opportunity to work with banks for six months. After this experience, she transferred to the Delta Agrar company, where she is still today, where she works as a finance manager in the fruits and vegetables department. She points out that this job is extremely dynamic and full of challenges, which makes her especially happy, because it allows her to make progress and learn new things every day. In addition to the usual work activities and preparation of reports, she is also engaged in setting up the system for the new distribution centre in Stara Pazova, as well as for the cold storage plant that is being built in Zajecar.
Why have you decided to stay in Serbia?
Even as a final year student, I got an opportunity to participate in the „Young Leaders“ program in Delta, where I quickly got an opportunity to make progress. That is why I did not need to think about going abroad. My family and friends are here and I really think that we, young people, can make Serbia a beautiful place to live.
What did you want to be when you were a child?
A volleyball player. I played this exceptional sport for a long time and I dreamed of becoming a professional athlete.
Favourite subject at school?
Geography.
Business role model?
People who have managed to do the job they love and enjoy it.
