Businessmen from Nova Varos to minister: SHORTAGE of workers is the MAIN problem

This year, the Ministry of Economy has set aside two billion dinars in non-refundable grants for four programs of support to small and medium enterprises, said competent minister Andjelka Atanaskovic in Nova Varos.

The funds are intended for the purchase of equipment, encouraging entrepreneurship through development projects, for supporting beginners in business, and for the first time for a program intended for women and youth, said the minister who informed the businessmen of Nova Varos about the support programs.

„Many businessmen from Nova Varos are already using the funds of the Development Fund, but also of the Ministry of Economy, which shows that they see us as someone they can always turn to, someone they can rely on and someone who can help them,“ Atanaskovic said.

She visited the company Zlatarplast, which employs 300 workers and consists of three basic units – plastic processing, rubber factory and cold storage facilities, as well as the company Trgovina Avdic, which is located in the Business Zone Inova.
