    Businessmen who report to SCC – without a PCR test in Serbia

    As of January 21st, businessmen from all over the world, foreign and domestic citizens who come to Serbia for work, can cross the border of our country according to a simplified procedure, different from the rules that apply to other passengers.

    At the initiative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC), the Serbian government  allowed foreign and domestic citizens who come to Serbia for business reasons to cross the border with prior notice to the Chamber, and subsequently, within 24 hours of entering the country, obtain and deliver negative rapid antigen test for the presence of SARS-Cov-2 virus, issued by a reference laboratory in Serbia, the SCC announced.

    According to new rules, owners, managers and employees in their companies who intend to come to Serbia for business reasons, and upon entry do not have a negative RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 virus, issued by the reference laboratory of the country they come from, no older than 48 hours, will announce their arrival in advance to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which will inform the border police in a timely manner, in order to enable them to cross the border. Upon entering the country, he will do a quick antigen test in the Serbian reference laboratory, submit it to the Chamber and, if it is negative, continue planned activities.

    To announce the arrival and for all the necessary information and support, one needs to contact the Serbian Chamber of Commerce 48 hours before the planned entry into Serbia via email: [email protected].

    The request sent to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce should include the following information: name and surname of the person announcing entry to Serbia for business reasons, passport number and name of the country that issued the passport, brief description of business reasons for entering Serbia, date and place of entry into Serbia , flight number and name of the airline company, i.e. registration number of the passenger motor vehicle, date of entry into Serbia and date of planned departure from Serbia, address where the person would stay while in Serbia, contact phone number and e-mail address of the person during the stay in Serbia.

    The new procedures will not apply to those coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, who were previously allowed to enter Serbia without a PCR test.
