Decision was made: Entry to Serbia WITHOUT TESTING, in Greece as early as of June 15th
The Crisis Headquarters for the Fight against the Coronavirus will send a proposal to the Serbian government to abolish the mandatory testing and self-isolation when entering the country, as of Friday. The Serbian government will decide on this measure at tomorrow’s session. „The recommendation of the Crisis Headquarters is that from Friday there will be no need for a PCR test to enter Serbia, both for citizens of Serbia and for citizens of other countries,“ said Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, Deputy Director of the Institute of Public Health „Milan Jovanovic Batut“. It was announced at the Crisis Headquarters that from June 1st most countries in the region might cancel testing for COVID-19. If the epidemic in our country moves in desired and expected direction, practically the only measure that will remain is – self-assessment of all risks. At today’s video-conference meeting of the representatives of the High Council for Cooperation of Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece, it was agreed that borders of these countries will be open from June 1st.
