EUR 60 for ALL UNEMPLOYED, payment in June

The one-time financial aid of EUR 60 is intended for all unemployed people, and not only for those who lost their jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali stated.

While having a guest appearance at the „Prva“ TV station he stated that details of the decree by which that assistance will be granted are still being worked out, but the criterion will „most likely be registration“ with the National Employment Service.

„The aid will be paid in June, and the regulation regulating the aid will be published in the next week or two. Last year we gave aid to maintain employment, now we want to give a dose of optimism to those who do not have a job,“ said Mali.

This means that within the third package of economic assistance, the unemployed will receive a total of EUR 120 by November, given that all adult citizens will be entitled to EUR 30 in assistance two times.

Mali reminded that the one-time financial aid of EUR 60 was recently announced by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
