Expropriation approved for Cukaru Peki

The Government of Serbia has established public interest in the expropriation, that is, the administrative transfer of land and facilities, for the purpose of the exploitation of mineral resources at the site of the Cukaru Peki mine. The Rakita Exploration company based in Bor has been declared as the beneficiary of the expropriation, according to the decision published in the Official Gazette. The decision on the expropriation was adopted in accordance with the information on the location provided by the Department of Urban Planning, Construction, Utilities, Property and Housing Affairs of the Town of Bor on 21 January. It is stated that this document was issued in accordance with the Spatial Plan of the special-purpose area for the exploitation of mineral resources at the site of the Cukaru Peki mine and it refers to the real estate in the cadastral municipalities of Slatina and Brestovac.
