Fruska Gora Corridor „signed“ with the Chinese: The value is EUR 606 million and it will be finished by March 15th, 2024

The Serbian government and the Chinese company CRBC have signed an agreement on the construction of the Fruska Gora Corridor, from Novi Sad to Ruma, whose total value is EUR 606 million.

The agreement was signed by Minister Zorana Mihajlovic and the director of the company, Zhang Xiao Yen, and the ceremony at the Presidency of Serbia was attended by President Aleksandar Vucic and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo.

The Fruska Gora Corridor will be a speedway from Ruma to Novi Sad in the length of 47.7 kilometres, connecting highways towards Sid and Subotica.

The complete corridor will be built in a record time, by March 15th, 2024, the Serbian president stated.

„The Fruska Gora Corridor will be very significant, not only for the citizens of Novi Sad, but also for the citizens from all parts of Backa and Srem, and it will shorten their travel to western part of Serbia and western countries.“

Vucic stated that this speedway, above all, will enable easy arrival to Fruska gora and Ruma.
