GLASS FACTORY in Paracin will operate again: „Investors from three countries are interested“
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that three foreign companies were interested in the Glass Factory in Paracin.
During his visit to the Technical Secondary School in Despotovac, Vucic said that they were „Austrians, Swiss and Slovenes“ and that these were much more serious companies than the companies that had been interested before, when, as he said, „there was theft“.
He also said that the state was considering investing additional funds in the defence industry.
Vucic also mentioned that after a two-year standstill, the defence industry was again selling in advance almost everything it produced, especially ammunition.
In Despotovac, there are former facilities of the cable factory covering three hectares, and we are thinking of investing a lot of money in the defense industry, which is profitable again,“ said Vucic.
He noted that ammunition was also exported to the United States.
Vucic also said that he expected that the first contract with the EU for the Belgrade-Nis high-speed railway would be signed by the end of September, and that the 17.5-kilometer section from Djunis to Stalac would be built first.
