How Belgrade expressed gratitude to NOVAK ĐOKOVIĆ for the record (PHOTO)
Novak Djokovic celebrated the record for the largest number of weeks at the top of the ATP list in history with the fans, and „official“ Belgrade, as announced, expressed gratitude to the best tennis player in the world in a special way.
In his honour, a screening of recordings of the best points in his career so far was shown on the facade of the building of Belgrade City Assembly.
Messages: „Bravo Nole“, „We are proud of you“, „The world’s no.1 for 311 weeks“, „The best tennis player of all time“ were written on the facade. Judging by the photos, several dozen people attended the screening.
Also, in Novak’s honour, messages of gratitude to Djokovic were written on billboards across the capital, and on all buildings with decorative lighting, such as the National Assembly, the Palace of Albania, the fountain on Slavija, the Branko’s Bridge, the Ada Bridge, the lighting was in colours of the Serbian flag last night.
