IT IS DECIDED: All members of Interior Ministry MUST be vaccinated

The Interior Ministry has made the decision that all the members of the police must be vaccinated against covid 19, in order, as stated, to protect the health of the employees and create collective immunity.

Having in mind the specifics of police work and the constant contact of the police officers with citizens, it is necessary for all the members of the police, except those for whom vaccination is not possible due to health reasons, to be vaccinated, according to the website of the Interior Ministry.

As it is recalled, vaccination against covid 19 is a recommended measure by all relevant authorities – the Crisis Staff for the Prevention and Suppression of the Infectious Disease Covid 19, the Ministry of Health and the Institute of Public Health of Serbia „Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut“.

They also note that the employees are obliged to, in accordance with the Law on Safety and Health at Work, implement all preventive measures of safety and health at work, in order to preserve their health, as well as the health of other employees.
