Jura „counts“ 111 infected people, it is possible there are even more

The Mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanovic, said that another 39 workers in Jura plant tested positive for the coronavirus in the past four days. He stated that 1,865 workers were tested in Jura in the past few days and 2.09 percent of the samples were positive. The first case of coronavirus in Jura was discovered on April 6^th, and since then, 2,260 workers have been tested in that plant, and 111 are positive. Testing of another 480 workers has been agreed with Jura’s management, said Cvetanovic. Earlier, epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic stated that the spread of coronavirus in Jura occurred because workers were brought to work in overcrowded buses, but also because epidemiological measures were not respected.
