Minister at Stadler: Here is the status of HIGH-SPEED TRAINS ordered by Serbia (PHOTO)
The Minister of Transport, Tomislav Momorovic, paid a visit to the Stadler plant, where three electric trains capable of achieving speed of 200 kilometres per hour are being assembled and which will run on the high-speed railway line Novi Sad – Belgrade.
The Minister stated that the first of three trains will be in Serbia by the end of October.
He added that these are state-of-the-art high-speed trains for speeds up to 200 kilometres per hour, with excellent performance, exceptional comfort and safety, having a total capacity of 316 seats, including accommodation for people with reduced mobility.
The agreement on the procurement of these trains was signed at the beginning of April, and three electric trains were purchased at a price of around EUR 62.2 million, VAT included.
