President breaks his promise – he will not receive FIRST VACCINE

The vaccine against the coronavirus will first be received tomorrow by the users of the retirement homes in Belgrade and Novi Sad, but also by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Minister of Labor Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, the government confirmed for Tanjug.

Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, confirmed for the Nova.rs portal that she would be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine against the coronavirus tomorrow.

„Yes, I will be vaccinated tomorrow,“ said Kisic Tepavcevic.

It should be recalled that President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated earlier today that vaccination would start in Serbia tomorrow, and that the first vaccine would be received by someone from the government as proof that it was good.

„And someone from the top of the state will receive the vaccine, whether Ana, Darija or I, we will see. We will leave one of us for another vaccine, to show people that every vaccine that our health system receives is good,“ said Vucic.

The first contingent of 4,875 Pfizer vaccines arrived in Serbia on Tuesday, December 22, and State Secretary in the Ministry of Health Mirsad Djerlek said that the vaccine would be received first by the people older than 75 in retirement homes because they were „the most sensitive category of the population“.
