Serbian Chamber of Commerce: Every third company in Serbia has lost 80% of its REVENUES
The biggest problems of businessmen in Serbia during the epidemic and curfew are delayed or cancelled orders, inability to cover basic operating costs, limiting working hours, inability to collect claims, illiquidity and difficulties in logistics and distribution. Director of the Strategic Analyses, Services and Internationalization Sector of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC), Mihailo Vesovic said this in an interview with „Magazin Biznis“. He said that the SCC’s survey showed that by the end of March every third company had estimated a loss of revenue in excess of 80 percent and every second above 50 percent. He pointed out that the world is facing an unprecedented global crisis, the entire economic system is paralyzed, „and Serbian economy is also facing numerous problems: from delays and cancellation of orders, problems with illiquidity, prohibition of work, etc.“
