Vucic: Abolition of STATE OF EMERGENCY in May at the latest

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced the possibility of abolishing the state of emergency by the end of April at the earliest. „I am not clairvoyant, but I hope that, if not in April, then in May at the latest, we will certainly abolish the state of emergency,“ the president told Prva TV. In order for that to happen, he says, the number of people on the ventilators must start to drop. „It is incredibly important that the number of people on ventilators starts to drop and that the number of people at the Fair starts to increase,“ said Vucic, adding that hospitals were full, although eight hospitals had been converted to covid centres. After the abolition of the state of emergency, „the economic race begins and we must be successful in it,“ Vucic explained, noting that we had to take care of the economy and the lives of our citizens.
