Wizz Air introduces a flight from Belgrade to Lyon
Low cost carrier Wizz Air has announced that it will introduce a regular flight from Belgrade to Lyon as of June 15th.
Wizz Air will fly from Belgrade to Lyon in France every Tuesday and Saturday and by establishing a new flight that company will have a total of 14 flights from Belgrade to destinations in seven countries.
As a reminder, Wizz Air established a base in Belgrade in 2011, and since then it has transported more than four million passengers via its low cost flights from Serbia.
According to statement, slightly more than 800,000 passengers selected Wizz Air as their carrier in 2018, which represents an increase by six percent when compared to a year before, and passenger transport capacity for 2019 increased to 921,000.
It is pointed out that business activities of the company Wizz Air will support nearly 700 jobs in Serbia this year.
